The rear quarter panel have been modified to include functioning side scoops that direct cool air to the rear brakes. The trunk lid that includes the rear spoiler has steel reinforcement build in for added strenght. Shelby taillights finish off the back end in style. One look at the front end shows all the hours and hours of hand fitting all the handmade fiberglass parts proves that someone has a lot more patience than I do, but the results are astounding! Once all the handmade parts were assembled for the final time Hot Hues candy apple FX was applied with love over and over again until just the right shade was achieved. This 1969 Ford Mustang is pretty extreme to say the least. Built by Lamborghini Dallas, she is painted in a Lamborghini Burgundy Red color. The paint shines extremely well as this build has just 500 miles on it. The black interior has cloth bucket seats and vinyl back seat. For the business end of this pony car is the original numbers matching 351 CID V8, but has been completely built by Keith Craft in Garland TX. The motor received JR aluminum Heads, new Holley intake and Carb, mild cam with solid lifters, she has produced 500HP on the dyno through custom built headers. the accessories are modern serpentine belt driven. The original rebuilt C4 transmission sits behind the 351. This setup makes this a lot of fun to drive. You may recognize the wheels style off of a certain famous Ford GT. The Model T is the car that really brought the idea of a motorized buggy to the masses. With a model run that lasted for 2 decades and over 15 million units to say it was a success would be an injustice. The Model T was great for its time but impractical to drive in modern times. That is where the street rod comes in. A street rod is basically a Pre-WWII car that's been modified with more modern components to increase performance and even comfort. This is a perfect example of just that. Starting with the body, which was completely disassembled and taken down to bare metal, was then protected using Rustloc epoxy ensuring the medal for years to come.
