1956 Chevrolet Bel Air

View Description

Tri-Five Chevys are universally coveted by the collector car community and it seems that each one has a unique restoration story to tell. This true 'VC code' Bel Air was a rust/bondo free Arizona survivor according to the seller and features an expensive frame-off paint and body matching frame in Violet Pearl with mesmerizing eight stage ghost flames. The rear has been mildly tubbed with 20X12 wide wheels with polished aluminum American Racing rims. Most of the chrome that you'd typically see on a Bel Air has been removed save for the grille and front headlight surrounds giving this '56 a real stealthy appearance. Under the hood with a custom 4' steel cowl is a small block 350 CID motor with numerous performance upgrades including but not limited to a Mother Thumper cam, Holley 750 carburetor, ceramic coated headers, Ron Davis radiator with electric fan and American Autowire wiring harness. A 3-speed Turbo400 automatic transmission with TransGo shift kit gets you down the road through a 12' rear end geared 3. 73. You can be sure this Bel Air for sale will handle, stop and steer well too thanks to rack-and-pinion steering, adjustable coil-over suspension and 4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes. Enjoy...

1957 Chevrolet Bel Air

View Description

Who doesn't love the classic look of a 1957 Chevy with a LS motor dropped under the hood to make it more reliable. That's right this 57 Chevy Bel Air has a 5. 3 LS under the hood making it a breeze starting it up with every turn of the key. It is backed by a 4L60E transmission that adds to the drivability of this car. It is also putting power to the ground with a Ford 9' rear end. It is painted a rich Burgundy Metallic that shines in the sunlight and is finished off with the 5 spoke chrome wheels. The interior is two tone grey and looks fabulous in the car. It has all the old style inside mixed with modern touches like AC and a sound system. This car is sure to turn...

1957 Chevrolet Bel Air

View Description

The Chevrolet Bel Air was a full-size car produced by Chevrolet for the 1950-1975 model years. Initially, only the two-door hardtops in the Chevrolet model range were designated with the Bel Air name from 1950 to 1952. With the 1953 model year, the Bel Air name was changed from a designation for a unique body shape to a premium level of trim applied across several body styles. The Bel Air received new, revamped styling for the 1955 model year. The Bel Air was 3,456 lbs. (1,568 kg) and 15 ft. (4. 6 m) long. It was called the 'Hot One' in GM's advertising campaign. Bel Airs came with features found on cars in the lower models ranges plus interior carpet, chrome headliner bands on hardtops, chrome spears on front fenders, stainless steel window moldings,[1] full wheel covers, and a Ferrari-inspired front grille. Models were further distinguished by the Bel Air name script in gold lettering later in the year. Powering this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 2-Door Hardtop is a 283 cid 4 bl V8 backed by an automatic transmission. 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air

View Description

What makes it so unique is its digression from the 'normal' path of going with Chevrolet engines in this restoration. Under the custom louvered hood is a beefy Oldsmobile 455 CID V8, which has the task of sending the power through the 4-speed automatic transmission (appears to be a THM200-4R) to the 2. 78:1 gear set in the rear axle. The big 455 is enhanced by a 4BBL carb and mild cam, and a custom dual exhaust system provides that vintage muscle car sound. Additional mechanical updates include Wilwood front discs, a giant aluminum radiator with electric cooling fan, Mustang power rack and pinion steering, and tubular upper and lower front control arms. When one sees this car at a distance, it looks like a regular '54 Bel Air convertible, with a lot of shiny brightwork and classic vintage '50s look. Then the details begin to emerge as you get up close. The Saxony Red paint looks great, the glass is good, the chrome pops in the sun, and the chromed American Racing wire-style wheels complete the look. Inside, this 1954 Bel Air has a nearly new interior. Having received a complete refreshing of the interior a few years back, it's...
