1965 Pontiac Lemans

In the early 60s Pontiac was looking to introduce a new car to the market and unveiled the Lemans. It was placed as the top-of-the-line version of the Tempest. It would only take until 1963 for the Lemans to appear as its own model in the Pontiac lineup. The Pontiac Lemans would see 5 generations across 20 years. The GTO designation would first appear as a package for the Lemans in 1964 and would start an incredible movement in the automotive world ushering in the muscle car wars! Here we have a '65 model that was born a Lemans but has been turned into a GTO tribute. Walking up on this car chills run down your spin and a sharp grin cracks on your face. The red paint looks great and truly sets off the awesome lines of this car. The black vinyl seats look nice and comfortable, certainly complement the red exterior and are in good order. The black-soft top looks good and is a power top. Under the hood, per the owner, is a rebuilt 400ci V8. Power is ran down through a rebuilt 3-speed with O/D 200r4 automatic transmission.
