This flamed-out, leopard-printed boulevard battleship was once featured in Hot Rod Magazine. Originally, it was built as a rolling testament to Kenwood's mobile audio prowess, for which it debuted at the 2001 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Under the hood of this beauty is a Supercharged 6. 2-liter LSA V8. The LSA was Very similar to the LS9 found in the C6 ZR1. The main differences include a lower compression ratio, smaller supercharger, and cast pistons. Stock, the LS9 obviously made more power than the LSA, but that is no longer the case on this car thanks to Lingenfelter Performance Engineering! LPE have fitted this mean ride with their ported supercharger package that bumps up torque and HP vs. stock. This package includes a smaller supercharger drive pulley to increase boost pressure, ported and polished supercharger snout, Lingenfelter intake with K&N filter, larger fuel injectors, and a 160-degree thermostat. Sending the power to the fat rear wheels is a six-speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly through the gears. Overall, the powertrain of this beauty is in great condition and provides plenty of power for a fun drive.
