The beastly 454 CID V8 is what powers this monster with only 1400 miles on it since the rebuild. It's paired with a T400 automatic transmission and can get up into the powerband with ease. The Edelbrock carburetor has been adjusted to provide just the right amount of air to fuel ratio and make for very good response time. This C10 also features a set of headers paired to an exhaust system that will scream for attention running down the road. Disc brakes have been added to the front wheels with drums still providing plenty of stopping power to the rear. The American Racing wheels truly sets this truck off. All the trim and chrome throughout the exterior of the truck is in great shape with no pitting to be seen.

Powered by a S-code 390 CID big-block engine, power is readily available for those with a heavier foot. Enjoy the car at maximum RPMs by shifting through the 4-speed wide ratio transmission. Power is driven to the 9-inch rear end with 3. 25 gears. Other features include a new set of Wilwood disc brakes up front, with twin-piston calipers and slotted/drilled rotors, 4-barrel carburetor, chrome valve covers, and air cleaner. While the original color may have been Raven black, this car still presents itself well in the off-white.

The bed side panels, bumpers, aprons, floors, cab corners, and cowel have all be replaced to ensure the truck is solid for its new owner. Ragtop lovers flocked to Ford showrooms in 1955. They took home 49,966 1955 Ford Fairlane Sunliner Convertible Coupes. Only Chevy came remotely close with about 41,000 soft-top sales. Dramatically new sheet metal and a trendy wraparound windshield draped the carryover 115. 5-inch-wheelbase chassis. A concave checkerboard grille, Fairlane 'checkmark' bodyside trim, and large 'Jet-Tube' taillights completed the look in '55. This gorgeous classic car screams of the '50s.
