This one is a beast with it-s 383 stroker engine and killer styling. 1970 was the first year for the second generation of the Chevrolet Camaro. It was longer, lower and wider than the first generation Camaro. GM said the second generation is much more of -A Driver-s Car- than its predecessor. Most of the engine and drivetrain components were carried over from 1969. The 1970 model year vehicles are generally regarded as the most desirable of the early second-generation Camaros, since the performance of following years was reduced by the automobile emissions control systems of the period and later the addition of heavy federally mandated bumpers. The 1967 model was redesigned with enhanced Coke bottle styling that featured Corvette-inspired front and rear fender bulges. The curves were the most pronounced with the 1967-'1968 models. In keeping with federal regulations, safety features were built into Impalas during the 1967 and 1968 model years, including a fully collapsible energy-absorbing steering column, side marker lights, and shoulder belts for closed models. This 67 Impala has been through a complete restoration from the wheels up. Staring with the exterior the car has had a recent repaint in gun metal gray basecoat/clearcoat paint job completed at Jerry-s collision here in Houston, Tx - that is in great condition & shows very well.
