2002 marked the 35th anniversary for Chevrolet's flagship Pony car, the Camaro, which was first introduced in 1967 to compete with the runaway success that the Ford Mustang was having. To commemorate the 35th anniversary of the Camaro, Chevrolet released a special edition Z28/SS, which featured options like a catchy stripe package on the hood and trunk to compliment the bright Rally Red exterior. The car also features 35th Anniversary badges on the exterior and dash to let others know that this isn't just any ordinary Camaro. The theme continues further, with the 35th Anniversary logo stitched into the front headrests.
