Powering this beast is that special quad cam 32 valve 5. 7 liter LT-5 tuned port fuel injected V8 engine, which was designed by Lotus, and built by Mercury Marine's MerCruiser division. Naturally aspirated, this bad boy puts out a butt blistering 375 horsepower from the factory. The aluminum-blocked Chevy is lightweight, agile, and fast! Off the showroom floor it ran a 13-second quarter mile, easily dipping into the 12s with only minor modifications and into the 11s under the right conditions. Backing the mighty small block engine is a ZF ML9 6-speed manual transmission. Shifting through the gears on this C4 Corvette is truly a blast from the past!
