1937 Hudson Terraplane

View Description

The Terraplane was a car brand built by the Hudson Motor Car company. Originally branded as the Essex-Terraplane the Essex was dropped in 1934 to become known as just simply the Terraplane. It was one of the only vehicles that both the truck and the car bore the same name. This Terraplane has been upgraded in every aspect you can think of. The body has been painted in a custom red that shows off the lines of this ultra rare beauty nicely. The chrome itself is in excellent shape and shows nicely with the coveted Terraplane nameplate neatly displayed in the middle of the long grill. The engine is completely modern, taken from a Corvette the LT1 has retained the fuel injection. Now you can actually get almost 25 MPG on the highway and not have to worry about those stubborn cold startups you have when dealing with a carb. This motor has been backed up by the ultra reliable 700R4 that has become a go to piece in the custom car world. You open the doors on this rare street-rod and a super modern interior is as inviting as they come. The powered bucket seats upfront are covered with an...

1927 Hudson Super Six

View Description

Powered by its original Inline 6-cylinder engine, 3 Speed manual transmission, painted dark Blue, she is a sight to behold. one sign of the quality of this restoration will be when you close the doors and the shut with a positively solid thunk!

For 1927, the Hudson Super Six received a complete redesign including a new F-head engine, 18-inch wood spoke wheels (rather than 21 inches), and four-wheel brakes. The car was lower and generally more stylish, and power increased from 76 to 92 hp (57 to 69 kW). The lower-cost Model R sat on a 118 1? 2 in (3,010 mm) wheelbase, while that of the Model S is 127 3? 8 in (3,240 mm). Two standard bodies were available, a two-door Coach and a four-door Sedan. The Model O was also available with five different Custom body styles, made by Biddle and Smart of Massachusetts. The engine was updated in July 1927, with a new manifold and a different head design, including the relocation of the spark plugs and...

1929 Hudson Super Six

View Description

Painted in a dark blue with contrasting lighter blue to accent the body lines this elegant car looks as if it could have been in the Vanderbilt stable of cars. When it was new, this was a car that the owner hired someone to drive while they rode in the spacious back seat that measures just under an acre, kidding, no more than 1/2 acre. The interior of this car reminds me of theaters when I was a young man, the dcor, over the top opulence and the seats, overstuffed for comfort. These days we prefer to dive ourselves so the car has been modified to give the driver tilt steering wheel and a full set of Dolphin Gauges so you will always be fully informed at to what is going on under the hood. Now that I mention under the hood in this car when you lift the side curtain you will notice a modern Chevrolet V8 that possesses 305 cubic inches and is equipped with upgrades like Edelbrock intake, Carter AFB carburetor and H. E. I ignition. While this combination can be encouraged to produce gallons of horsepower, this set up was done more for everyday drivability and durability....

1952 Hudson Hornet

View Description

Once you lay eyes on this car it's hard to focus on just one detail, the more you look, the more that jumps out at you. When people claim a car is a work of art, this model comes to mind instantly. The two-tone Cream and Metallic Brown exterior goes together like Sonny and Cher in their heyday while the Brown and Tan interior meshes so very well with the chrome and decorative wood accents. Open the hood and it is no surprise to find more details from the Twin H Power advertisement for the dual one barrel carburetors sitting on top of the 265 cubic inch inline six cylinder engine. A 3 speed Hydromatic auto transmission does not have a park gear. Rather you start it in neutral and engage the parking brake should you park on an incline or decline. Features and Options include an AM Radio, Cloth Interior, Hub Caps, Radial Wide White Wall Tires and Seatbelts. This is still a 6 Volt positive ground electrical system and recent work includes a new gas gauge sending unit, new...
