This 1951 MG TD has been owned, well maintained and cared for by the same owner for the last 45 years. Born off the MGs TC roadster, Syd Enever and Alec Hounslow took two weeks in 1949 to strip a four-seat Y-Type Tourer and shorten the chassis five inches. This beautiful restored Chevy has been owned by the current owner for over 20 years bought from the second owner the car was in good shape, but he decided to take it all the way down and restore it to his liking. The green and black paint is separated by a gold pinstripe. With the louvers on the hood accented with the same gold pinstripe. The 4 cylinder under the hood is classic Chevrolet. This classic 60's truck is powered by a 350 CID V8 engine. It is not only built for its performance but also will turn a few heads driving into town. If the engine does not get people looking, the fire engine red with white paint job will be sure to stand out from the rest. The red and white interior matches very well with exterior. The wood grain finish on the dash gives the car a bit more personality that also ties into the wood finished bed liner. For added safety the bench seat is also equipped with seatbelts. Addition options on the truck is AM/FM radio, CD Player, tilt wheel and radial tires.

This TA does feature the original block however nearly everything else has been changed but for the better in the aspect of performance. The motor has been built up into a 6. 3L Stroker with roughly 1750 miles on it since completion. The block prep was done at Doucet Motorsports, and the short block then assembled at Raging Racing in which we can provide photos of the block torn down upon request. During the initial dyno run in period, this car came in at 615HP/610TQ on which was used for tuning purposes. The current HP after some miles have been put on it is unknown, but should certainly be a bit higher with the break in.
