Coming through in a very bright and stand out color is this yellow and black 1965 Corvair Monza convertible. GM's attempt to capture some of the European magic was often misunderstood or not appreciated at the time. Powered by an air-cooled boxer 6, American buyers were confused by it not having either a inline 6 or a V8. With the engine shoved in the back it also gave the car a different driving dynamic that Red White and Blue buyers were not used to.
