The fourth generation of F series produced a lot of firsts for the Ford line of pickups, some were a hit such as the twin I beam front suspension, others were not, like the unibody cab that reportedly would jam the doors shut when over loaded. 1966 was the last year of the fourth generation body style and had all of the best components from over 5 years of production. This beautiful F100 is only 2k miles off of its restoration with a great attention to detail and modern upgrades that definitely enhance this gorgeous truck. Under the hood the heart of this blue beauty has been replaced with a Ford Performance crate 302CID being backed by a matched AOD transmission so highway cruising is not out of the question. The suspension has been updated with DJM dream beams dropped twin I beams and rear shekel kits with new bushings, shocks, coils, and springs though It has been lowered a few inches to give it a slightly more aggressive stance yet still looks like it could be factory height.
