107,112 total production Firebirds with only 16,960 of those convertibles. This 10 year old complete restoration with $70,000 in receipts still looks and shines new. Stripped to bare metal with original Solar Red and Standard Black vinyl interior repainted and replaced. New chrome and trim add to finish the majestic look. 1968 was the first year for the Pontiac 350 cubic to come in the Firebird with 265 horse power. This numbers matching engine has some pretty nice engine upgrades including Edelbrock intake, Holly 600 carb, new gaskets, water pump, air cleaner and valve covers as well as new complete wiring harness. Rally II wheels with BF Goodrich Radials T/A-s all around. The numbers matching automatic handles the horsepower and shifts as it should.
