When the 1964 Chevelle was released it had some stiff competition from its sister company Pontiac with there GTO. They took note and would begin putting bigger and more powerful engines in the cars and even made a special line in SS396. This 65 has been restored and maintains all its original sheet metal with all the body lines and gap fitment being of the highest quality. The paint is clean and shows well with the base coat clear coat system giving it a much deeper look. The tan top gives it a modern look with the contrast making that paint look that much deeper. Under the hood is a strong running 400 with a nice cam giving it a great sound at idle. Smash the gas and set back while the 4 barrel opens and propels this beauty down the road. The power glide transmission shifts nicely from low to high gear with the rear end having the perfect set of highway gears.
