1970 Plymouth Road Runner
View Description
The Plymouth roadrunner was Chrysler's answer to a 'back to the roots of muscle cars' muscle car. With nothing but a midsize frame, huge motor, and no options you could pick up a Roadrunner that would run 14 sec 1/4 miles for under 3 grand. Even though they only expected to sale 20000 units the car was so popular it easily doubled those expectations. Dodge was so I'm pressed they even released a model of their own, the Super Bee. This 1970 is a great example of the classic Roadrunner concept. The Body is straight with no signs of bondo and is believed to have all the originals panels. The car has been brought back to its color of EB7 or Jamaican Blue Metallic as it was called and it looks great. The top was finished off just as it was in 1970 with black vinyl which accents the blue nicely. The car has been badged with the period correct 440 badging. Not only are the badges there but pop the hood and you will see a very well detailed period correct 440 with the classic 6 pack air cleaner finishing it off. It has been outfitted with very nice set...
