The black paint is slick and shows well but this bug has more than just good looks. The fiberglass hood was used to shave off a couple more LB's. The 145 series tire on the front VS the 215-s on the back begin to give you an idea of what this -Peoples car- is all about. With the hood having that classic tilt opening up top the story is becoming even more clear, this Beetle was built to run. The built engine has a ton of aftermarket EMPI parts that give this air-cooled 4 enough power to really open any enthusiasts eyes. The split intake with a set of EMPI carbs really catches the eye while the note coming out of the custom exhaust lets everyone know you mean business. The 4-speed transmission is an absolute blast to shift thru with the pattern feeling tight and close just as it should. That-s right a station Wagon! The precursor to the vaunted SUV is the station Wagon, and the mid 60-s has suddenly regained some popularity. You will see them as support vehicles at your local dragstrip or showing up and being showed off at the local car cruise scene. Designed to haul the family around town and make the -family vacation- easier as only one vehicle was required, which is what our modern-day SUV-s and mini-vans do. This Plymouth Valiant SW looks to be in excellent shape. The interior is in very good shape, with the only noticeable wear being the rubber mat in the tail gate area. Under the hood is possibly the most reliable engine Mopar ever built, the 225 CID Slant 6 engine. While it not as impressive as a Hemi V8, these little engines almost never left one stranded. The -65 Galaxie was a fresh design with some unforgettable dual stacked headlights. Another change was in the suspension with the old leaf springs being pulled and a 3-link rear being added.

This beautiful Galaxie features a strong running 352 CID V8 that has been paired to a 3-speed automatic transmission. This 3-owner car is in great running condition as it went through a complete restoration by the previous owner. The engine is putting out around 250hp making for a great cruiser. Other goodies under the hood are: 4-barrel carburetor, calm factory bent dual exhaust, A/C, and power steering. Everything on the car was either replace with new components, restored, cleaned, or serviced leaving this car in like new condition.

Part of the restoration was a complete repaint back to the factory color -Ivy Gold- and it shows well. All the chrome trim, decals, and emblems remain in great shape for the cars age. This car is certainly worth looking at in person as the photos do not do it justice.

With a range of power plants and trim options the Cougar found itself located between the Ford flagship Thunderbird and Mustang in respect to options and affordability. Our example of this cat is equipped with a stout 351CID that has been massaged over to put out some serious horsepower. Forged pistons, ARP rod bolts, Crane cam, Port and polished 202/160 heads fitted with roller rockers. On top of all these fine ingredients sits an Edlebrock Torker 2 intake manifold with a healthy 750cfm BG carb.
