This engine was so famous or Infamous that one of the largest bands of the times, the beach boys, wrote an entire song to it. Even today in car circles someone will mention they heard that someone has a 409 to use in their next build and you can feel the jealousy in their voice. No other engine is as instantly recognizable not to mention as snappy as a small block with enough torque to yank tree stumps out of the ground. This bad boy is one of a kind. The 2 door sedan body has been chopped 3' for a nice aggressive look. The lights have been swapped out for '39 Chevy tail lights and '34 Ford Commercial headlights. The paint is a beautiful blue which contrast well with the white accents. The white top is super cool; it's a completely detachable canvas top which can be removed for open air driving. This sweet body sits on a Pete and Jakes frame which sports a Super Bell front suspension and steering as well as a chrome 4 link. Hummer took the world by storm when they introduced their H2 model in 2002. Manufactured by AM General and marketed by GM the H2 is a civilian version of the more extreme H1 military vehicle. The frame is based on heavy duty GM truck frames which has been beefed up for the hefty 8,600 lb weight of the H2. This powerful H2 includes a 6. 0 Liter V8 which puts out some serious horsepower. Power is delivered through a 4 speed automatic transmission to all four wheels. This particular H2 is loaded to the hilt. A Gasser is a type of hot rod originating on the dragstrips all around the United States in the late 1950s and continued until the early 1970s. In the days before Pro Stock, the A/Gas cars were the fastest stock-appearing racers around. Gassers are based on closed body production models from the 1930s to mid-1960s, which have been stripped of extraneous weight and jacked up using a beam axle or tubular axle to provide better weight distribution on acceleration though a raised stock front suspension is common as well. This Gasser hasn-t had much weight reduction done because the 528 Hemi paired to the 727 Torque-Flight Transmission pull their weight just fine. This dominant duo has less than 3,000 miles on the build and can rip pavement apart with one stab of the gas pedal. The 442 W30 is probably the best performance car that this GM Division ever produced. It is a car deserving of a tribute. This classic Cutlass with Red paint, white stripes, white convertible top, and Pearl interior is a real eye catcher. This car might not be a real factory 442 W30 but the performance is there. The motor has less than 1000 miles on it. The 455 CI V8 runs on 93 octane pump gas.
