The Studebaker Commander is the model's name of several automobiles produced by the Studebaker Corporation of South Bend, Indiana (United States) and Studebaker of Canada Ltd of Walkerville and, later, Hamilton, Ontario (Canada). Studebaker began using the Commander name in 1927. Powering this Studebaker is a 233 cubic inch v8 backed by a 3-speed '3 on the tree' manual transmission.

The Chevrolet Monte Carlo is a two-door coupe that was manufactured and marketed by the Chevrolet division of General Motors. The Monte Carlo was marketed as the first 'personal luxury car' of the Chevrolet brand. Introduced for the 1970 model year, the model line was produced across six generations through the 2007 model year, with a hiatus from 1989-1994. The Monte Carlo was a closely aligned variant of the Pontiac Grand Prix through its entire production. This Monte Carlo is powered by a 350 CID V8, which is backed by a GM TH350 3-speed automatic transmission. As one will easily notice, this V8 has some punch to it. One can hear the lope of an aftermarket cam, and the big 4BBL carb on the aluminum intake help make the most of feeding all 8 cylinders. Ignition is enhanced by an MSD HEI distributor and MSD 6AL spark controller. Exhaust is routed through the true dual exhaust via coated headers. Cooling is improved by the addition of a giant aluminum radiator and twin Derale fans. The TH350 trans is shifted by a B&M Quicksilver ratchet shifter and sends that twist out back to a set of 3. 73:1 gears in the pumpkin....

Since the ground up restoration in 2017, this gorgeous, sunlit gold Mustang has seen just 5,047 miles and is ready to hit the open road.

During the restoration, several new components were added and quite a lot of body work was performed. This Mustang received NEW fenders and hood as well as floor pans, quarter panels, tail panel, and frame rails that were all professionally welded. As you can tell from the photos, the top was also replaced with the windshield and they are both in like new condition.

The engine and transmission combo in this car is a 5. 0L v8 and a 4 speed AOD out of a 1989 Lincoln Town Car but the engine has been rebuilt with some upgrades that give it quite a bit more pep. It has a Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection system, Trick Flow twisted wedge aluminum heads, Edelbrock performer intake manifold, hydraulic roller camshaft, Crane valve springs, Summit Pro series stainless rocker arms, and Trick Flow chromoly pushrods. The engine is dressed up as a 302 with Cobra valve covers and an oval air cleaner. It is breathing though JBA shorty headers and a 2. 5' H pipe dual exhaust.
