In 1967 the Mercury Cougar made its introduction as a high line version of the Mustang. Offering more options and a larger more luxurious design. With about three million cars produced, the Cougar is the highest selling Mercury brand ever produced. An effort was made to give the Cougar a 'European' flavor when it came to styling. Including such features as hidden headlights, long flowing lines, leather interior, and simulated wood dash panels as inspired by the Jaquar E-Type. Our 1969 Mercury Cougar convertible is a fine example of one of Fords most gorgeous vehicles. This Cougar is equipped with a 'BRAND NEW' 351 Windsor V-8 attached to an automatic transmission. Under the hood are more new parts including a new radiator, carburetor, and master cylinder. Other parts recently installed are new front springs and new chrome bumpers. A in Italy and license-built in several countries, the Isetta, Italian for little Iso, was primarily intended to provide economical and practical transportation for the masses. However, it also enjoys a largely unheralded racing heritage, gained in 1954 when a trio of Iso works Isettas swept the podium in the economy class at the storied Mille Miglia. While small in size, the Isettas influence was large, helping save BMW from being taken over by Mercedes Benz, its much larger rival, during the late 1950s.

Finished in red, this rare BMW Isetta is an improved sliding-window, 298 cc variant from 1958 equipped with a delightful canvas sunroof and complimented by nice brightwork and period-style whitewall tires from Coker. It was acquired by the consignor in 2009 after a prior unsuccessful attempt to purchase it from the then owner, Bill Klageman of Michigan, who restored it thoroughly from 1996-2002.
