The Cutlass 442 was produced from 1964-1987. Originally an option package on the Cutlass model and becoming its own model from 1968-1971. After which the 442 converted back to an option package on the Cutlass platform. This 1985 fifth generation 442 was manufactured 1978-1980, 1985-87. In 1985-86 Oldsmobile used the Cutlass salon model as the platform for the 442-option package. The package included a heavier drivetrain, chrome steel wheels w/ gold trim, special paint w/ gold body decal package, manually inflated rear air shocks, standard a/c and 4-4-2 badging.

The iconic Grand National was produced from 1982-1987. General Motors took the mid-sized Regal and installed a 3. 8L turbocharged V-6 under the hood. Producing a car that pumped out 245hp under the hood with the introduction of fuel-injection in 1984. Also, in 1984 the first all-black Grand National with minimal chrome trim rolled off the assembly line becoming one of the most recognizable muscle cars ever built.

This 1987 Buick Grand National is quite the performance Machine. One look under the hood and you can see the love in making this muscle car into one fast Machine. In classic Grand National style, this car is painted in tuxedo black with a black/ gray velour interior. The outward appearance of this car has not deterred from its original appearance...

The layer of Silver Metallic paint laid down on the body is blended into the purple flame job. The black and gray cloth seats were swapped in from a later model car to clean up the interior space.
