Wow, the history of the Thunderbird is rich! Debuting all the way back in 1955, the Thunderbird was Ford's immediate response to the newly marketed Corvette. Rushed from idea to prototype in under a year! The Thunderbird would become one of Ford's longest produced cars. Spanning from 1955-1997, and 2002-2005, the Thunderbird would see not just a few redesigns, but 11 generations in total! Here we have a '65 model, the 2nd year of the fourth generation. A 'Z' code car. The green paint looks good and is very complementing of the lines on this car. The black vinyl interior looks nice and comfortable and is in good order. One of my favorite features of these cars is the sliding steering wheel. Makes getting in and out a breeze! Per the owner, under the hood is the original but rebuilt 390ci V8 big block backed by a rebuilt 3-speed automatic transmission. The current owner has had her for over 48 years! The Master series was first introduced in the early 30s in the heart of the depression. In a time when manufacturers were looking to make cars cheaper due to the hardships this was Chevys higher end line. The Master series would offer many trims to appeal to many markets, coupes, sedans, pickups and more. The Master would see production from 1933 all the way to when the U. S. Government ceased all civilian manufacturing in February of 1942 when America entered WWII because of Pearl Harbor. Here we have a '37 model, and she is far different than your grandfather's old Chevy. The pink and blue two-tone paint is striking and certainly stands out in a crowd! The shaved door handles and custom pin striping with a touch of light blue, gray, and a different pink shade really gives this Truck a show appearance. The light brown and chrome bed flows with the paint well. Notable chrome accents on this trucks exterior would be the whole 'Heartbeat of America' tailgate, bumpers, side exhaust, and 14 inch Superior wheels with white letter tires. 0! Pushing into the late 60s Porsche was ready to unveil some new models. One of those aging models was the 912. With assistance from Gugelot Design the 914 came to life. Use of the outside design was to appeal to both Porsche and Volkswagen as to not diminish either brand with similar looking models. The 914 would see production up to 1976. The dark red paint shows well and contrasts well with the black targa top. Inside the black vinyl seats match the top and are in good order. T-Buckets are highly modified Ford Model Ts from the years 1915-1927 predominately. Modifying cars had been going on for years to get more power and T-buckets are no different save for they were dramatically modified.
