Celebrating the glory days of hot rodding is this 1923 Ford T-Bucket. The term -Hot Rod- became commonplace in the 1930s or 1940s as the name of a car that had been 'hopped up' by modifying the engine in various ways to achieve higher performance. The body/frame for this T-Bucket is gloss black with a red pin striping running the length of the frame and accenting the body lines for a smidgen of color. The frame and body were produced by a company named Total Performance. A 283 CID engine has been fitted between the frame rails of this light weight bucket. For extra performance, the 283 V8 has a set of 350 heads to get more air/fuel in and out of the engine. To take advantage of the larger heads, a bigger cam (. 465 lift intake/. 488 lift exhaust) has also been added. To insure plenty of fuel is fed to the 283 V8, an Edelbrock intake with 3 two barrel carburetors sits on top.
