Before the Mustang came along there wasn't really a car that went after the younger market. With its hip styling, unlimited options, and a price tag that a young person could afford the Mustang was an instant success. 1966 brought very few styling changes to the original pony car but the most noticeable being the now infamous 'floating' pony on the front grille. Pop the hood on this 66 and you will find a period correct 289 that sounds as if it has had a slight cam installed. A Holley 4 Barrel feeds this motor just the right amount of fuel making it very responsive. A set of chrome valve covers and air cleaner finish off the engine nicely. The 2007 Mustang was basically a holdover from 2006 with very little changes going with the -if it's not broke don-t fix it- mentality. With its chiseled looks and totally retro interior they were and still are very popular cars. The GT, with its 4. 6 Liter overhead cam V8, was considered the fastest car for under $25000 by Road & Track. This particular 07 has had a pampered life never seeing any inclement weather and only being driven in the summer for the past three years. The stock look was ok but the current owner wanted to put his own touch on it. A custom Ram Air hood from Cervini's was added giving the car a more muscular look. The blue stripe is tasteful and runs the full length of the car. The rear window was given a louver treatment along with the side windows and definitely gives this 07 a straight out of 67 look. A set of wheels, from American Muscle, were purchased to finish off the exterior look of the car with nice clean finish.
