This car is the epitome of a true survivor car. This car is originally a one owner vehicle which has been inherited by the current owner. The original owner was a good old fashion house wife and only used the car for quick trips to the grocery store and occasionally to the next town over or an occasional vacation. It has been garage kept the past 20-25 years with period driving to keep fluids running through the car.
Powering this piece of American history is the original 350 CID V8 and 3-speed transmission, which has only 98,000 original miles. Over the course of 48 years that equivalates to a little over 2,000 miles PER YEAR! The engine was of course rebuilt as things do tend to wear out of the years and was done roughly 1,000 miles ago by Charlies Automotive back in 2001. Not only was the engine gone through but so was the brake system, fuel pump, hoses, belts, and carburetor.
