The Mercury Marauder was a vehicle that Ford put out in limited production in 2003 and 2004 to try and reel in the market that the 95 and 96 Impala SS had ignited. With its all black exterior including smoked head and parking lights the look is all but sinister. The chrome polished five star wheels are exactly what puts the car over the top and definitely jump out against the black body. With this beauty having a clean vehicle history and less than 9000 miles the exterior is in excellent condition. Built on the Panther platform most of the parts on the Marauder come from the Crown Vic Police Interceptors. This big land sled is painted in a beautiful maroon color that really lets the shiny Chrome bumpers pop! For 1971, the Cougar was restyled, weighed less, and had only a one-inch-longer wheelbase than its predecessors. The front end now featured four exposed headlights; the disappearing headlights were eliminated. The center grille piece was now larger, sharing its appearance with the 1971 Mercury Cyclone.
