While the body and interior of this car are mostly original, it has been mechanically overhauled using factory parts with the exception of a few performance modifications. The seller has added an Edelbrock 650 carburetor, an Earson camshaft, and a Holley street dominator intake manifold to the 390ci FE V8. The engine is mated to a 3 speed manual transmission or '3 on the tree' as they say. This example came from the factory painted in Medium Sage Gold Metallic and is said to retain its original rust-free body panels, although the hood was stripped and resprayed in black. 2004 Mercury Marauder.

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this gorgeous 2004 Mercury Marauder finished in Silver Birch in our Houston showroom. The 2004 Marauder is the final run in the third use of the Marauder moniker, which only ran for the 2003-2004 model years. Initially only offered in the blacked-out version (which most are familiar with), Mercury added a dark blue version (2003 only), and the Silver Birch and Dark Toreador Red (with the red only available in 2004). Mercury only produced 3214 Marauders in 2004, with 1237 of them in the ubiquitous black, 997 in Silver Birch, and 980 in the Dark Toreador Red for 2004.
