Background: The Chevrolet Camaro is an American automobile manufactured by Chevrolet, classified as a pony car and some versions also as a muscle car. It went on sale on September 29, 1966, for the 1967 model year and was designed as a competing model to the Ford Mustang. The car shared its platform and major components with the Pontiac Firebird, also introduced for 1967. platform and was available as a two-door coupe or convertible with 2+2 seating, and a choice of seven different V6 and V8 powerplants.
This particular 1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS has a period correct 350 V8 that has been modified with 3/4 Racing Cam, Hooker Headers, TCI Torque Converter, Edelbrock Evershine aluminum intake, Edelbrock Thunder 650 Carburetor and more mated to a Turbo 350 transmission. It has a POSI rear end putting the power to the pavement. The exterior and interior are in very good condition. As you can see from the video, it starts, runs, and drives the way it should.
