1968 Plymouth GTX

View Description

This is a great looking GTX that is done up in Medium Green Metallic paint, green vinyl interior, and a green vinyl roof and recently had a one year rotisserie restoration and has only 400 miles since it was completed. The restoration was performed according to the fender tag specifications. Under the hood you will find a 440 CID V8 that is not original but is a correct 68 engine and is topped by a 4 barrel carburetor. The transmission is the original to this car 18 spline 4 speed manual transmission, and putting power to the ground is a Dana 60 rear axle with 3. 54 gears. Tons of...

1967 Plymouth GTX

View Description

The Plymouth GTX was introduced as the Belvedere GTX in 1967 by the Plymouth division to be a 'gentleman's' muscle car. The GTX was to be an exceptional blend of style and performance. What differentiated it from a normal Belvedere was its special grille and rear fascia, shared with the Satellite, chrome 'pit stop' fuel filler cap and optional racing stripes. This 1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX has a massive 440 cubic inch V8 as the power plant that is linked to a very responsive 833 four speed manual transmission. The engine and transmission are both sporting a little over 1,000 miles since being built and are two very nice additions to this Belvedere that started out life as an original 318 V8 engine and 3 speed manual column shifter. The exterior paint color is a very rich and glossy black that is complimented very nicely by the black vinyl interior and the two really give the GTX a true muscle car look. The 1967 model year was the last of the square boxy design for the Belvedere GTX and the smoother coke bottle...

1972 Plymouth Road Runner

View Description

The Roadrunner was basically untouched from 71 with minor changes like marker lights and bumper guards. The GTX was no longer it-s own line of car but was the top of the line trim package in 72. With only 672 models sold from 72 thru 74 this real deal 440 GTX is an extremely rare car. Though it does not have the 440 that it left the factory with no one will be the wiser. With a rather fresh build this 440 is ready for that next adventure, rather that be to the grocery store for some milk or that far away carshow either way you will are going to get noticed when you arrive. The big block sounds absolutely amazing and with the press of that vertical pedal you will understand why they say there is no replacement for displacement. Fuel delivery is taken care of through the massive 4 barrel carberauetor that delivers just the right amount of juice. With all that power you are going to want a stout transmission...
