He sold the Porsche in 1978 and moved to new projects. In 2005 a conversation lead to some information about the whereabouts of the car and the itch started. He bought the car back and started a restoration project. The car was reassembled in eight weeks and it was back to daily driving duties. The original engine that was thought to be long gone by a stroke of luck turned up in another conversation. Well that was purchased and sent to Lambert Racing engines to be gone through.
