1953 Buick Riviera
View Description
This 1953 Buick Sport coupe had once been left abandoned in an Washington state field. It has since been rescued and restored to its' former glory with a modern full frame off restoration. The restoration began with a Nova subframe that was boxed on the sides, front and rear. The top was then chopped 3. 5', and a convertible bow was added above windshield frame for the removable Carson fiberglass top custom made to fit, and the Buick '3 holer' holes were welded and filled, and headlights frenched.
The dash was modified for custom gauges, the seats were rescued from a Thunderbird, and the double din Kenwood head unit was seamlessly flushed with the dash and receiving a JL Audio amp and speakers. The interior is an icy white leather with purple trim to match the exterior.
A Speedzone Custom made aluminum radiator was used to cool the new GM crate 350ci motor and 350 turbo transmission which each has 4,500 miles since new, and HPC headers.
