These full-size, truck-based vehicles competed with Chevrolet Suburbans back in the day but they had something that GM's well known SUV didn't: four-wheel-drive. Although Travelalls didn't post huge sales numbers, they received glowing reviews from those who bought them- an early indication of the SUV craze to come by the end of the 20th Century. This example comes painted in White with oversized wheels and tires and comes with the largest engine option from that year- a 392 CID International Harvester V8. The motor has been rebuilt and comes with electronic ignition, a four-barrel carburetor, power steering and power assisted brakes. The 3-speed automatic transmission on this tough Travelall has also been rebuilt. And the owner didn't stop there- the interior has been re-upholstered with Blue vinyl but features the original gauges, steering wheel and dash set-up making...

The popularity of the Grand National peaked by 1987, and this car is one of the 20,740 built for the model year. A 4. 9 second 0-60 run doesn't sound much by today's standards, but we are talking an era where Corvettes, Mustangs and even the Lamborghini Countach were not sub-5 second cars. All Grand Nationals were painted in Black and this one comes with Gray cloth interior too. Factory options according to the original sales sheet we have on this car included power windows, power door locks, power seats, electric trunk release, cruise control and an AM/FM stereo with cassette and equalizer.
