This 1968 Mustang started out as a 'C' code vehicle 289 cu. in. with 2 bbl carburetor. The project started as a great barn find and was transformed into a movie car from 1968 'Bullitt'. The owner/builder of the 1968 Mustang researched the movie for 2 years before building this car. He was in contact with the producer and star of the movie through the build of the car. The rebuild consisted of a rotisserie restoration. The car was disassembled into a thousand pieces, with every nut and bolt replaced as if it just rolled off the assembly line. The factory 289 cu. was replaced by FE390 cu. and was rebuilt 2 months ago with less than 100 miles on the engine.
