1967 marked the first year of the second generation C10 and also an important turning point for Chevy trucks. In the prior years trucks were looked at simply for utility, but with the '67 facelift and available comfort and styling options the trucks were easier to use for daily transportation. People saw the trucks more like they looked at other passenger vehicles. This new generation of C10s was the first that V8 engines outsold 6 cylinder models which shows consumers were willing to pay to spec up their Chevy truck. This particular C10 has been a Missouri vehicle its entire life and has been in the same family for over 40 years. For the majority of its life it was the daily transportation of a farmer and never traveled far from home.
