Under the hood of this 1929 Ford Model A Hotrod is a 302 V8 backed up by a C4 automatic transmission. This 1929 Ford Model A Hotrod was not built to break records at the strip, but instead give you years of reliable enjoyment. The 302 V8 has been mildly built with a small cam, aluminum intake and valve covers, and an Edelbrock 600 carburetor. This one was restored to mimic a model car that represented an old fire chief's car from New York. What a great execution! This one looks and acts the part very well. The logos are vinyl in case you wish to change the city from New York to your hometown or remove them all together. The brass fire extinguisher was also restored and looks fabulous. There is also a working siren that will grab attention anywhere you go! The restoration included a full mechanical restoration in addition to the obvious cosmetic restoration. It starts with ease and is a true joy to drive. We love seeing more of these restored vs. turning one into a hot rod. We appreciate those too but have a soft spot for the originals.
