The current owner and seller purchased the vehicle from the south a few years ago and has enjoyed it as one of many in a collection for the last 3 years. Although there is not documentation available, a case could be made for original mileage.

The vehicle was driven at highway speed for over 200 miles prior to being consigned with us, and is in fine order. The wheels of course are not original but compliment the styling nicely. The coil springs were cut slightly to lower the ride height and the car handled it incredibly well.

Gloss black paint, Hotrod flames, white wall tires, and a supercharged flathead V8 will take you back in time with this 1940 street rod. The Flathead V8 came out of a 1948 Mercury and has been completely rebuilt. Sitting on top is a roadrunner intake, Weiand blower, and dual two barrel carbs. This engine sounds amazing and pulls very well. The 3 speed transmission that is mated to the engine has also been rebuilt and shifts smoothly.
