The Edsel nameplate is a classic case of Ford's misstep in marketing a new brand. That said, history has been kind to the Edsel and now they are appreciated as a unique classic of the 1950s. This 58 Edsel is a great example of what Ford got right with the Edsel. The Horse collar grille, seagull taillights, the pastel two tones, and of course 'space age' chrome and gadgets - like push button gear selection! The Ranger wears period correct green-turquoise and white two tone, over same color interior. This truck is an amazing example of a well-preserved mint truck. You could be forgiven for thinking this truck has never done a days work in it's life. You'd be wrong though. This F150 was completely gone through and has a receipt for $10k+ dollars in parts and modifications thrown at it. Fortunately, even with that investment, the truck was solid and unmolested truck to begin with.
