This stunning custom truck is immaculate inside and out and runs and drives fantastic.

Under the hood of this monster sits a 454CID Big Block paired to an TH400 automatic transmission and 12 bolt rear end with 3. 73 gears. Bolted to the block are aluminum heads with custom valve covers, a Demon 4bbl carburetor, and headers mounted to dual 3- exhaust. The engine bay is painted to match yellow and accented beautifully with chrome and stainless steel trim, and steel braided lines. An aluminum radiator and transmission cooler with fan have been installed to provide extra cooling on warm days.

The ride is fantastic with its air ride suspension with the compressor mounted inside the beautifully finished oak bed liner. New front disc brakes and rear drums calibers have been installed to bring this hot rod to a smooth stop with ease and comfort.

In 1986, GM acquired Group Lotus. They went after the title of world's fastest production car based on the C4 Corvette. With input from GM, Lotus designed a new engine to fit in the ZR1. The result was what GM dubbed the LT5, a 5. 7L V8 engine putting out 375hp. This engine, with only 5,192 actual original miles, is mated to the original 6-speed manual transmission that is a thrill to drive. In addition to the engine, Lotus also helped design the upgraded braking and steering systems used in the ZR1. The ZR1, being 200 lbs. heavier than a stock C4, needed better braking and handling. In 1990, the 1991 ZR-1 and 1991 base model received updates to bodywork, interior, and wheels.
