This beetle received a full frame off restoration about 15 years ago and has held up great over the years. The blue paint still shines great in the sun, and the manual sunroof makes this a great summer cruiser. In the rear lies a new 1600 CC duel Port motor from Mofoco. The engine is paired to a 4-speed manual transmission, and the noise is emitted through quad chrome tip exhausts coming out the rear. The gear box is tight and ready to go! The new engine was put in about 10 years ago by the current owner, and has about 1000 miles on it since being put in according to the owner. The engine has been beautifully dressed up in chrome that just pops against the blue exterior paint. Inside, the car has a clean refurbished interior with black vinyl and grey cloth insert seats. The Chrome VW seat belts add a nice touch in dressing up the interior. The odometer currently reads 45,106 miles which is claimed to be original by the current owner. It has disc brakes at all 4 wheels and great looking 15-inch chrome hub caps that look great with the chrome bumpers and blue paint....

The 1979 model year was the last year for the convertible Beetle which makes this car even more desirable. There were many upgrades done to the Beetle throughout its long production history and this car incorporates many of those improvements. The Macpherson strut front suspension gives this Beetle better handling and ride than earlier models. We love our VW bugs here, and we know that the general public and classic car nuts feel the same. It's so hard to match the reliability, ease of mechanical work and functionality of an air-cooled Volkswagen and having a drop-top personality just adds to the appeal even more! Painted in a beautiful Light Yellow exterior paint, this V-dub has a Black convertible top that's in excellent condition with a cover for when the convertible is lowered. This 1966 Volkswagen has been lowered and shortened at the front axle with Porsche Fuchs 15' wheels added for a 'Cal-Style' look. To bring this vintage VW forward in time, disc brakes were added up front, along with a 12 volt electrical conversion and a CD/Bluetooth head unit was professionally installed in the glovebox with additional speakers added throughout the vehicle.
