1969 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia
View Description
In the mid-50s Volkswagen was looking to make a statement with a new car. Initially called the Type 14 it would take the chassis and mechanicals from the Type 1 Beetle and the body would be styled by Carrozzeria Ghia and built by Karmann. Over the course of nearly 20 years production would pump out nearly half a million Ghias in Germany. Here we have a '69 model. Here we have a black paint with a beige vinyl interior certainly goes well with the exterior and is in good order. The convertible top is new and goes well with the interior. Powering this VW is a rebuilt 1600 48bhp 4-cylinder engine mated to a believed original 4-speed manual gear box. The title is clean and clear and ready to be transferred into your name now! Drop the top, head out...
