The Beetle has an incredibly deep history dating all the way back until the 30s era! With a team lead by Ferdinand Porsche the 'people's car' debuted in 1938. Over the next decade the car became widely known in its home country as the Käfer (German for 'beetle'). With subtle changes over the years across many generations the Beetle is the longest-running and most manufactured car of a single platform ever made! Here we have a '74 Model. The maroon paint you can tell has seen some of the world but still shows good. The tan vinyl and cloth interior has normal signs of use but has held up well. The convertible top is manually operated. Powering this Beetle is a 4-cylinder engine mated to a 3-speed manual transmission. With little weight, the 4-cylinder provides plenty of power and the manual trans really allows for spirited fun drive out of this little bug.
