Powering the classic muscle car is a 355 CID V8 engine backed by a Muncie 4-spd manual transmission. Following this is a stout 9" Ford rear-end with 3.25 gears. The Heidts front end and 4 wheels disc brakes definitely improved the agility and stopping over factory specifications. Other improvements on this Chevy include are an Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor, MSD ignition, K&N air filter, Griffin aluminum radiator, chrome valve covers and intake manifold, and a Moroso oil pan. The top engine in 1966 was the new Turbo-Fire 327 cubic inch V8 that put out 350 horsepower! When introduced in 1966, the Chevy II was extensively remodeled with a sharp-edge design based on the Super Nova concept car. The sound of this 355 rumbling out of the true dual exhaust will keep a grin on your face while you are showing it off! The Fire Mist Red will be easy on the eyes of the judges and other car enthusiasts at the local show.
