This 1967 “Venom” built Chevrolet Nova is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. Occasionally, a car comes along that just makes you go WOW! This would be the case with this 1967 “Venom” built Chevrolet Nova. Starting with the body, is an all fiberglass body that has been channeled and sectioned to give it that low and mean look that everybody is after. To insure that the Nova’s body proportions look correct, the top has been chopped as well. The body of the Nova was then covered in a brilliant “Victory Red” base coat with 4 layers of clear coat to the vibrant red. The interior of this bad boy Nova is a combination of gray leather, by Hot & Threads, and machined aluminum panels created by the owner. A set of Auto Meter Pro Comp gauges monitor critical functions of this beast. Power windows and remote door locks round out the interior of this bad to the bone Nova. The chassis of this “Venom” built is just as impressive as the rest of the Nova. Starting with a custom tube frame, a Mustang II style suspension & steering takes care of the front, while a Quadra-Link suspension takes care of the rear end. Speaking of the rear end, it is custom fabbed 9 inch rear end housing, with a 3.50 ratio gear set. QA1 Coil over shocks are used at 4 corners to keep this rocket planted on the ground. With all go this Venom ’67 Nova has, it’s going to need just as must whoa! This is provided by a set Baer disc brakes on all four corners. The final touch that makes this Venom Nova such a beast is the power plant! Starting with a Merlin block of Chevy design, the engine displaces a whopping 555 cubic inches! Stuffed inside the 555 BBC is a set of JE pistons and Comp Cams roller cam. A set AFR aluminum heads keep the fuel and air flowing through this big block engine. As if the wasn’t enough, a Procharger F2 supercharger has been added with a Holley 950 cfm carburetor. Horsepower is estimated at 1000! Now do you see why I say it is a beast?
