Known as the Chevy II Nova in 1967, the Chevy II nameplate and the vehicle became simply known as the Chevrolet Nova the following year. Also in 1967, the base 283 V-8 engine option was rated at 195 horsepower. Some lucky owners, however, ordered an upgrade. An option group including the 327 cubic inch/275 horsepower engine and 4-speed Saginaw transmission mated to a heavy duty 12 bolt possitraction rear end called a “towing package”. Really? This black on black stunner includes a detailed and rebuilt engine (non-numbers matching) with only 5,000 miles since the installation. This performance tuned powerplant features 10:1 compression, Torker II intake, Holly 780 DoublepPumper carb, Hooker Headers and a Mallory dual-point distributor. The sleeper/stock look of this beast is just right down to the simple, yet elegant hub caps! This stunning vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1969 Chevrolet Nova in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.som.
