If you are in your fifties, chances are when you were a kid you saw Opel's everywhere. However, they seem to have vanished into thin air. The styling was so similar to the C2s or second generation Corvette, they earned the nickname, 'The Poor Man's Corvette. ' The GT isn't a rare car, as over 30k were made in 1969, but how many of them are still on the road today and in the condition of TPA-3052? That has to be a much smaller number.
