The L Series was the first vehicle produced by the Lincoln Motor Company introduced in 1917 and would continue through the 1930 model year. The L Series was assembled in Detroit Michigan and went through several design changes during its existence, in 1924 it was given a new look with things such as a nickel plated radiator shell, 1925 was the absence of cowl lights and front and rear bumpers became standard, in 1927 the L Series got smaller wheels and 4 wheel mechanical brakes became standard, 1928 brought a new larger and more powerful 384 cubic inch V8 engine putting out 90 horse power and mated to a 3 speed manual transmission.
