Being such a lightweight body, the '66 Nova doesn't need a big engine to get going, but the builder of this car didn't care about that at all! A potent 454 Cubic Inch V8 resides between the fenders bolted up to a rebuilt 700R4 that makes this Nova and absolute screamer! A gear-driven timing set adds to the nostalgic feel of this beast as it whines with the revs of the engine. Out back a Ford 9' rear axle with 3:50:1 ratio was fitted to handle all the torque from the rat motor in front. Roughly 3,000 miles have been put on the combination, so you can rest assured that all the bugs have been worked out.
