1969 was a year like no other for the muscle cars coming out of Detroit. With motors getting bigger and horsepower numbers growing to ridiculous amounts the last thing really on anyone's mind was handling. This is where the Z28 was totally different. The Camaro was really never intended to be a true muscle car, after all Chevy had the Chevelle for that. The Camaro was there entry into the pony car war that Ford had cornered with its Mustang which was there weapon of choice for the Trans Am series. The Z28 came in and totally destroyed the competition. This Orange Beauty is an excellent example of what they looked like in 1969. The orange paint shows off the lines of the car well and has a glass finish. The black stripes only add to the menacing look and help to bring out the grill and chin spoiler on the front.
