Chevrolet introduced the Monte Carlo in 1970 as a full sized personal luxury car. The model ran until 2007 and went through several significant changes over the years. The first generation is by far the most muscular generation. First gen Montes could be had with everything from a 350 V8 with a two barrel up to a 454 V8 with 365 HP. This particular '71 sports a 383 CID V8 Stroker. The engine and automatic transmission have been rebuilt, and it runs strong. The car features a 4. 11 final drive ratio with Posi-Traction rear end.
