The exterior is finished in Roman Red with the white coves & a newly redone bright red interior, with the seats recovered by Al Knox's shop out in El Paso, TX. The interior on this vehicle shows very well. It also has the newer matching red headliner installed in the removeable hard top, along with new 'period correct' rear glass & the newer white vinyl soft top rounds out the overall appearance of this beauty. For the 1960 model, the most conservative of the Corvette engines was a 230 H. P. 283 engine that included a single, four-barrel carburetor. Next in succession of horsepower was this 245 H. P. 283 CID, a hydraulic lifter version of the same engine that includes a dual-quad carburetor set up atop an aluminum intake with the famed Corvette finned valve covers. This is also paired up with a 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. That is what you are seeing in this example of this classic Corvette that we have available.
