Chevrolet produced the Corvair between 1960 and 1969. In this time they rolled out nearly 2 million Corvairs in many body styles ranging from a two door convertible to a ramp side pickup truck. Corvairs featured a unique rear engine, rear wheel drive layout that was not common for American cars of the time. The engine was a horizontally opposed 6 cylinder which sat behind the rear seats.
